Ingredients:
2lb raw peanuts in
shell
2 ½ tbsp coarse salt
1 bulb garlic, finely
chopped
Directions:
- Shell peanuts, soak in water for 30min.
- Drain peanuts and place in medium bowl.
- Toss in garlic and 1 ½ tbsp salt thoroughly.
- Cover bowl and marinate for 2hrs
- Preheat oven 220 degrees, add remaining salt to peanuts, and spread peanuts evenly on full sheet pan.
- Bake for 3-4hrs, shaking pan to turn peanuts occasionally.
- Taste occasionally for crunchiness and flavor. Add more salt and more time if necessary.
- Cool completely before storing in a tightly lidded sterilized jar.
